简介

Dr. Li Bingjie is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Professor Zhigang Yao's research team at the Department of Statistics and Data Science, National University of Singapore (NUS). He will join the Interface of Data Science and Geometry Group at the Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (SIMIS) as an Assistant Professor in July 2025. Dr. Li obtained his Bachelor's degree in Fundamental Mathematics from Wuhan University and his Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Zhejiang University. His research primarily focuses on unsupervised learning theories and algorithms, with applications in biomedical big data analysis.

In recent years, Dr. Li's research has encompassed manifold fitting algorithms, unsupervised learning methodologies, single-cell sequencing data analysis, and investigations into human metabolic heterogeneity. These research findings have been published in journals including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Patterns, and Biomedical Signal Processing and Control. Furthermore, he has dedicated significant efforts to applying manifold learning techniques for constructing human behavioral atlases, analyzing comorbidity patterns, and developing high-performance disease prediction models.
